CUNY Fatherhood Academy
Ronnie Niles was a successful graduate of the CUNY Fatherhood Academy's 3rd Cohort. Mr. Niles exemplified fatherhood in so many ways. He was a positive voice in the classroom and was a great example to his fellow students and staff regarding the commitment it took to raise his daughter. He was one of the most selfless individuals I have come across in my career. He was always putting others first, providing genuine heartfelt advice and trying to find ways to bring smiles and encouragement to everyone he came across. He was a deep thinker who always knew the right things to say and when to say them. Saniah is truly blessed to have had Ronnie as her father. In his program entrance essay Ronnie wrote, "I love to help people and my commitment to the CUNY Fatherhood Academy would be the same as a parent to their child. You're reaching a hand out to me and to me that means everything". Ronnie was true to his word. I am so glad to have known him.
