Obituary for Eileen Norris
It is with great sadness that the family of Eileen Norris (nee Zanin) of New York, New York, announce her sudden passing on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the age of 87.
Eileen will be lovingly remembered by her children Susan Lala, Frank (Patricia) Norris; grandchildren Andrew (Jennifer) Lala, Erin Norris, Kathleen Norris; and numerous other family members, friends and neighbors.
She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary Zanin, cherished husband Frank Norris; siblings Theresa Witte, Peter Zanin, and Peggy Griffin.
Eileen was a lifelong New Yorker and devout Catholic known for her generosity. She loved living in the heart of Manhattan and enjoyed the numerous activities the city has to offer. Eileen also loved spending her summers in Greenwood Lake, New York. She was an avid New York Yankees fan and Rummikub player who will be dearly missed by all.
