Life Story for John E. Gallagher III
John E. Gallagher III, husband to Rosanne (Rose), father to Elizabeth and Danielle, and eldest brother to Paula Scott, Grace Aquilino, and Joe Gallagher, as well as an uncle and godfather to many, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019, due to complications after two cardiac arrests.
John was a deeply loved and admired man. His presence impacted the lives of life long friends as well as many people in the film/TV industry. As a man always behind the camera, his influence was not always recognized but it was felt by all. His talents allowed for great accolades to be achieved, and he remains an inspiration to each of us. His existence in our lives allowed us to be better people.
There will be a celebration of John’s life at Redden’s Funeral Home, located at 325 West 14th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue, on Saturday, March 9 from 6 PM to 9 PM, and Sunday, March 10, from 2 PM - 6 PM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 11 at 10:00 AM at the Epiphany Church, located at 373 Second Avenue (on the corner of East 22nd Street).
