Obituary for Evelyn Marie "Babe" Curich

CURICH, EVELYN nee Considine
Evelyn Curich, known to friends and family as “Babe”, a life-long resident of Manhattan,
passed away on July 10, 2017 on her 93rd birthday.Babe is survived by her daughters, Connie (Bill) Molloy and Anne Marie Urbealis. Babe will be fondly remembered by her four granddaughters, Jennifer(Patrick)Moroney, Jessica (Baptiste) Riff, Jodi (Tim) Barber and Karen Molloy as well as her five great
grandchildren, Caleb Camal, Lily & Ben Barber , Evie Moroney and Wyatt Riff
Babe will also be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces &
nephews and in-laws. Babe was loved by all who knew her.
Babe is pre-deceased by her husband, George, her sisters, Sarah Ada Shultz & Constance
Considine, her brothers Tom and David Considine and her son in law, Bruce Urbealis.
Babe began her career as the Principal’s secretary at Sacred Heart School before
changing careers to switchboard operator at WABC and then The Hilton Hotel before
retiring at age 70.
Viewing will be at Redden’s Funeral Home 325 W. 14 th Street, New York, NY on
Thursday July 14 from 3:00 - 7:00.
Mass of Christian Burial St. Paul the Apostle RC Church Columbus Avenue, at 60th Street, New
York, NY on Friday July 15 at 10:00am. Interment Cemetery Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY
